“So the fulfillment of her wish is to convince her that the Jolly ol’ Elf is fictitious?” Augustine flipped through Jasper’s written assessment.
“Ada’s parents used the threat of a maleficent construct to frighten their children into docile submission.”
Augustine raised an eyebrow.
“‘He sees you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake’,” Jasper sang. “No, we’re going to introduce her to the real Saint Nicholas.”
