Headed out to the beach on a gloomy, grey day. I like the lighting on days like that. It gives the beach an almost surreal effect.
I also found another old, abandoned building. I would love to know the stories surrounding these places. Maybe, I’ll just have to make up my own.

Love the storm front – it could be Cape Cod although I know you’re in Florida. For some reason, I’d never thought of Florida as having dunes, beaches yes – but I’d been thinking all flat. Shows how wrong perception can be. Between you and Blogitse, I must get myself to an ocean soon.

Ah. Estate mansion! Nice. Believe it or not, I have cranky windows like those in the blog post. I hate them.

I really love Mountain of Sand. But they’re all inspiring.

I sat and stared at the first photo for at least a minute. It is incredible, Tara, perhaps the best you’ve taken yet. I must have a copy. I will pay, just PLEASE give me a copy. I want to blow it up and put it on the most awesome canvas for my (new!) bedroom which I am painting soon. The rest of the photos are awesome as well but… oh, that first photo. INCREDIBLE.

Tara. the sky in the first photo is absolutely breath-taking and makes a great contrast to the others. The last picture “cranked” makes me imagine all sorts of stories, within and outside.
Yesterday I read your tweet about the rain and was curious to see your photos today 🙂

I love your beach. I’m also a fan of old buildings that are not what they once were. Makes me wonder, too.

I ran 5 miles in similar weather today. Having the clouds chase you is kinda beautiful

I like the light too, especially the juxtaposition of the colors in the sky against the slightly monochromatic beach below in the first shot.
