There is a comfortable silence between us,
A feeling no mere mortal could touch.
My heart aches with the love I feel for you.
Sweet grace whispers stay with me
Until the end of time.
We will love a little more,
Then pass it on and not wait until it’s too late.

Each line of this poem is taken from a previous post of mine about love to create a Cento. From the Latin meaning “patchwork,” Cento is a form of poetry that incorporates lines from other poems.
I love it.

Hi Tara! I just posted about cento lately too! And I wanted to mention that I mentioned your blog on mine regarding ekphrastic poetry (https://jennannsd.wordpress.com/2016/03/06/e-ekphrastic-poetry/). I always enjoy your posts 🙂
