No matter what kind of day I’m having – sad or blue, lonely or bored, angry or anxious – all that can disperse after some time outside. Walking in the sun, lounging on the beach, or hiking in the woods… it doesn’t take much, just a little sunshine, and I’m good to go.
A warm dose of vitamin D helps get my equilibrium back, and helps me find a fresh perspective to see everything in a better light.
My energy, is solar energy… with a side of cookies.

Cookies! That’s what I’ve been missing! I have been enjoying the sunshine and great outdoors.

This seems weird but your photos and hike posts make me feel like I’m outdoors with you. Good job.

I found your blog via nablopomo. I love the outdoors and that great jolt you get from the sunshine. Also, I wanted to mention that we now know that Vitamin D levels are one of the most significant factors in breast cancer prevention. Will be visiting your blog again:-)

Thanks for stopping by, Luna. I knew about the benefits of Vitamin D and that sunshine is a way to get a dose. I also have to be careful of exposure, since I have a family history of skin cancer.

I totally agree. Nothing calms the soul like taking a walk on the beach my friend. XOXO – Bacon
