Hint of fall

Florida is well behind most of the country in its autumn preparations. We are still hovering in the 80s during the day, with a few cool, mid-60 mornings. It will be November before I can wear a sweater comfortably.

Even though the fall foliage mainly stays green year-round, we do have a hint of color. I set out this weekend to find that color.

  1. I love fall – the reds, yellows and oranges. You had to go in search of a little bit of that color. Here, it arrives in abundance and disappears too soon.

I’m always amazed at your spider pictures. Spiders are one of my phobias, yet your spider and web photos always strike me as so beautiful.

  2. It felt very fall-like here today and driving from NL back to BE I could see lots of coloured foliage but we’ve already had some pretty chilly/cold days and I’m sure more are to come! Enjoy your warm weather!!

  3. I love our fabulous weather here. And we have a tree nearby losing it’s leaves and showing a bit of color. Love your beautiful photos…makes me glad I live here, too! Enjoy your afternoon!

  4. You really are behind us – in Helsinki most of the leaves are gone or brown, in Northern Finland we have snow and first ski resort was opened today.
This summer has been really nice and long, as well as autumn. Today it was cool but sunny. Tonight it will be cold but rainy at the weekend, no snow in Helsinki, which I like! 🙂
