Ever vigilant
Ridding the world of vermin
One squirrel at a time

Haiku Friday is hosted by Lou at LouCeeL.
*Our Girls, Labrador-Chow mixes Maxx (age 14) and Hershey (5), guard our backyard against those bushy-tailed rats. They’ve never caught a single squirrel; probably wouldn’t know what to do with it if they did. Maxx, showing the signs of arthritis, is no longer the first out the door chasing the fleas bags up trees or over our fence, but she can still bark out no trespassing warnings. Hershey flounces across the yard, only to lose sight of them in the branches of the oaks. She’ll then sit beneath the trees, confused, as they chatter insults at her.
This one is great! Darby shoots out the backdoor at the squirrels. Tink runs with her but has no idea what she’s running for hahahahaha.

1. Loving the new layout.
2. Great Haiku!! I keep thinking I need to get into it, but always forget. I wish I was more organized to keep track of such things *lol* Right now I’m lucky to remember my weekly winners!!
