100 Word Challenge: Challenge

December 5, 2018December 5, 2018 ~ Tara R. ~ 5 Comments

A little update on the knee surgery rehab progress…. I appreciate that this is all uninspiring to some of ya’ll but it’s new to me, so here it is. I met my surgeon Monday for my 6-week post-op follow-up. Prior to my appointment with him, I had also had a session with my physical therapist. … Continue reading 100 Word Challenge: Challenge

Could barely get my … Continue reading I want to ride my bi-cyc-le

I’m back!

October 30, 2018October 30, 2018 ~ Tara R. ~ 4 Comments

I’m a week post-op from full knee replacement surgery (the big Sister to partial knee replacement) and learning to walk all over again. I don’t know what I actually expected. Certainly not back to power walking 5 miles a day, but certainly not breaking a sweat shuffling the 20 steps down my hallway, white-knuckle grip … Continue reading I’m back!

Uplifting

June 18, 2012January 5, 2015 ~ Tara R. ~ 7 Comments

He lay on his side, one leg bent and the other straight out to balance his body. She rubbed her hands together to warm them before touching bare skin. Bracing her thighs against the table edge, she ran her fingertips along the stiff ridge until she found the right spot. Then, she pulled... hard. Her … Continue reading Uplifting
