“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me’.” ~ Matthew 25:40, NIV
See a need, fill it
Unto your ability
Smallest of gestures

My daughter is active in a local non-profit that provides weekly backpacks of food for area elementary school kids who qualify for reduced- and free-lunches. I am on the group’s “on call” volunteer roster. When the group needs extra help, or when a regular volunteer is unavailable, I’m their “go to.”
On a regular basis, we distribute more than 100 packs to our designated school. That’s a full third of the student population.
Each time we are there, a teacher or other school staffer has stopped us to offer a, “thank you,” and to let us know what a positive impact this program has had on the children.
It doesn’t take much to make a difference. The change your small effort can make in the life of a child, of another person in need, is immeasurable.
Do what you can, when you can, however you can. It all matters.

WOW. I love you as a friend and a person, but every day I’m reminded a little more of what an amazing, giving, person you are. XO

Excellent! This is something I say and “believe” but I do not live nearly enough. Thank you for the reminder.
