Honey-do list

Settled in

What does she do all day, just play on her laptop? I work like a dog and still have to putz around at home. “Hey, I cycled the laundry and fed the cats!”

Why does he do that? Do I announced every chore I finish? Maybe I should show him my list. I don’t get one or two jobs checked off and he thinks I’m lazy.

I hope mom and dad don’t ask me to do anything. Finally got settled in my chair and Po is all snug on my lap. Dang! I left my water in the kitchen.

Rule of thirds

The Trifextra Challenge for this weekend is to “…take a scene that involves (or affects) at least three people… (written) from the point of view of three of the characters, using 33 words for each character.”

  1. Thanks for linking up this weekend, Tara. You did it–you captured the essence of many, many family arguments. Not that I know from personal experience or anything, but another good tactic is to just leave the to-do list lying around, with all the things crossed off. Don’t mention it, but leave it in clear sight. Anyway, I’m with the kid on this one. Hope to see you back again soon.

  2. Sounds like a familiar tale for many. In our house {blushes} it’s totally the other way around. Sigh. Except that I don’t think Scott is lazy when he’s taking care of freaking everything. The people who think that ought to have a week alone to cope with it all. The kid’s perspective is really funny!

Hey, you’ve probably had it this way for weeks and I just noticed, but I love your new background!

  3. I almost thought about doing this but I couldn’t fit 3 girls into 33 words.

I relate to this so well. I’m sure The Bobina does too

    Great one Tar Rah.
