My knee replacement surgery is scheduled for early this Tuesday morning.
I thought I would be good with that, but the idea of having my leg cut open and a part of me taken out and replaced with an artificial body part has overwhelmed me more than I expected.
For now, I’m taking a short hiatus.
I’ll be back… harder, better, faster, stronger.

Good luck. My Mum had both knees done (though not at the same time) and said it was the best thing she’d done.

Many good thoughts and wishes as you have your surgery. I had both knees replaced at the same time three years ago. Just do your rehab after surgery and you’ll be amazed at how different your life is. All will be well! You’ll be great. Happy healing and all good to you.
PS Let your family wait on you during recovery. You deserve it!

I’m not sure if kids today use that word, I’ve used it since I was a kid though.
