Last week, I took a much needed break. A gawd-awful flu-not-flu ailment fell me and it took me longer to return to the life of the living than I anticipated. I believe I now know what it’s like to be a zombie and trust me, the living have nothing to worry about.

For a week, I took a break from writing, from posting writing prompts, and from social media (mostly.)

My regular Wednesday 100 Word Challenge will return this week, and I may add back Two Word Tuesday and The Darkroom at a later date, and perhaps in a different form.

Thanks to everyone who sent well wishes, I appreciate the concern.

It’s good to be back.

I believe all good fiction includes an element of truth, and all good photography includes an element of fantasy. In this journal I hope to give voice to the stories swirling around in my head, and to capture the images I see through my camera’s lens.
