“What is it?”
“I’ve never seen anything like it before.”
“It seems to be attached to the walkway.”
“Do you think it’s alien?”
“I have no idea.”
Fragile in semblance, the object was secured to the ground by a thin green cord that was capped with a yellow button with similarly yellow vanes protruding from its perimeter at regular intervals.
“Don’t touch it!”
“I just want a closer look.”
Later that evening, the local news reported more sightings of green and yellow objects popping up all over the city.
There has been no official response from the constabulary, other than an advisory to remain calm.
