More than black and white

“You really don’t have a good poker face.”

“Is my frustration that obvious?”

“Only a neon sign would more glaring.”

“Being open-minded doesn’t mean you’re only open to the current mob mentality of what’s right and wrong.”

“Have you tried just avoiding the subject altogether?”

“Of course, but that’s when my bad poker face is a liability.”

“You can’t fake that.”

“Nope, so I try to stay as neutral as I can.”

“How’s that working for you?”

“It’s not. If I challenge her assumptions, then I’m the bigot. She doesn’t see the irony of that.”

“Pot meet kettle.”

“Exactly.”
