It’s been a while since I’ve been on a photo hike, and I’ve missed my wanderings. This weekend I trekked around Fort Pickens in Pensacola. I’ve visited the fortress many times, so I strayed from the stronghold itself, and instead hiked around trails at the outlying Langdon and 234 Batteries, which border the beach and meander through the marshes.

The Fort is a great place to photograph. There are a lot of nooks and crannies to explore.
