The ghost of the Dread Pirate Roberts hovered over the beach. Buried deep in the dunes, tucked away for centuries, his ill-gotten Spanish doubloons. The imprint from his wooden peg leg, the only part of him still manifested in material world, left a telltale sign of his passing. A trail of uniform dimples across the top of the sand gave away his hiding place.

*Photo venue: Henderson Beach State Park, Destin, FL – taken during a recent, community beach clean up. These imprints were at the head of the beach, above the wind break. There were no other prints visible, and these led deep into the dunes. I have no idea what made the indentations.
what a way to look at those indentations and craft a story around them. Only you, Tara, could weave such a tale.

Lovely, I trully like the whole concept (image, title, story, and the mood in telling it) Perfect, Congrats Tara!

I would just love to dig in that sand and have a look for those doubloons.

Cool photo! Love the peg-leg part of the story… that would explain the indentions!

That last sentence makes the whole thing – “uniform dimples”. Great stuff.
