If you hold your mouth just right, and squint a little, but not directly into the sun, you can almost make out the outline of Something that might be there.
With some practice, you can believe that Something is Everything. With the right angle of refraction, the wavering image throws back what you most fervently hope it to be.
Chances are though, that on any other given day, your Something trembles and falters, morphing into Something More, or yet, something less, but leaving you wondering if you saw anything at all.
Or that it was only a reflection of you.

Wonderful take on the challenge!! Love the shot and your beautiful words!

Sigh, it sounded almost romantic and then sad. I always want to believe what I saw and felt.. It hard to know it might be just a illusion.
But you crafted it so well. 🙂

I wonder sometimes if we see in people what we recognize in ourselves, and that is what initially draws us to them.

What draws us is often what we see of us in others, but also what we hate most is what we see in ourselves just as much, if not more!
