This is so true. What we believe from people and words that stick with us far after the person who told it is gone. I take things to heart so this really hit me. Fantastic! AND congratulations on you win. The post was so poignant and emotional. Unfortunately hitting too close to home. I cried through the entire extremely well written piece.

it’s so true, the things said to you (good or bad, but mainly bad) do loop like a worn out cassette tape).
and once they are lodged beneath your heart, it’s hard to move them.
