Bravery doesn’t have to mean risking your life. Bravery can mean dropping to your knees to take a serendipitous photo of a violet blooming through a sidewalk crack, and not caring who’s watching.

  1. Wham. And you did it again – you tugged at my heart in odd ways – unexpectedly! This makes me think of my dad who always wore his photographers vest with his Tilly hat. And how I followed him in his photog adventures… Sigh.

  2. Oh, so true. The greyer I get, the more likely I am to hug trees in the fall, when their “true colors” come out. My daughter and I were known on our block in Buffalo for dancing in the rain… passing on the tradition. You are a good person, methinks! Thanks, Amy

  3. Apparently, I’m not that brave. I felt horribly self-conscious sprawled on the ground by the bank to take a picture of a blooming century cactus 🙂 (I suppose it didn’t help that my husband inched away and pretended he didn’t know me…)
