I believe all good fiction includes an element of truth, and all good photography includes an element of fantasy. In this journal I hope to give voice to the stories swirling around in my head, and to capture the images I see through my camera’s lens.

  1. I am CONSTANTLY amazed by how many flip flops (and other shoes) I find abandoned everywhere. And yes, Florida is no different. How do so many people lose so many individual shoes? That is my constant question.

    1. I find lone shoes everywhere. What gets me when I see them off the shoulder of the road, or a single sneaker hanging from a power line. There should be more people walking around with one bare foot.

    1. The closer it gets to Spring Break season, the more and more flip flops you’ll find at the base of the beach access walkovers. It’s like seeing the first robin of the season.
