Hello my old friends
Any new stories to tell?
It’s been a long time

Haiku Friday is hosted by Lou at LouCeeL.
In an effort to fulfill a promise to myself, I visited my local public library for some new (to me) books. And! I’ve been reading them.
My journal of big words and pretty pictures
Fabulous ‘ku and a fabulous promise.

Awesome! I love the library but I tend to be like a little girl at a cafeteria whose eyes are bigger than her stomach. I check out more than I can finish. Enjoy your books!

Perfect Haiku…perfect photo. I love books too; it’s just too bad that I don’t sit down and read many anymore. Happy weekend Tara… ~Joy xo

Oh, I love this! Both the photo and the haiku. When I saw the title and then the books, that’s exactly how I felt. Old friends. I’ve always loved books.

Marvelous haiku – and a wonderful photograph, as well. Like Texan Mama, I too, enjoy looking for your watermark.

Books are like old friends pregnant with knowledge, laughter, intrigue and fun…ready to spill their pent up treasures…if we would only lend them our time…
They could be old but years later, if we flip them open – they are new to us.

Books are such treasures, I think this haiku captures that perfectly. 🙂
