Saturday morning I woke from a dream crying. I couldn’t remember the details of the dream, but the rest of the day I felt, well… unsettled, and on the verge of more tears.
I tried to distract myself by going out for my usual weekend photo walk, but all it did was illustrate how preoccupied I was. No rhyme or reason, just a bunch of stuff with absolutely no connection.
(Photos shot with a Nikon D60, using an 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 20mm f/2.8 wide-angle, 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, Nikon CoolPix S205 and/or iPhone4)

There may be no common bond in your photos but they are striking nonetheless.

You may have felt disjointed, but you captured some beautiful pictures! I love the DOF of the first one…the reflections in the glass of the notary. I really enjoyed the unique and different shots of this week!
P.S. Sorry about waking from the nightmare 😦 I know how icky that can feel, especially when you cant’ remember what it was that was so disturbing!

Lovely shots, as always.
Tara, this is weird, but I woke up on Saturday morning, to find my pillow soaked and my eyes wet. Bad dreams. But didn’t really remember what they were. Or maybe I consciously tried to forget…I don’t know. Felt quite drained, though, and a bit listless through the day with an odd sense of disquiet. Here’s a hug from me to you.

Your dream, as most dreams do, presages change. Change is good, hard. Your pictures alternate between barriers and freedom. The cusp. Courage, Robin
