Daddy’s little girl

This all sounds petty I know, but understand, it was constant. The name calling, the endless barrage of insults. Finding fault in everything I did. I have a permanent flat spot from all the cuffs to the back of my head.

From the outside, it looked like he was playing around. That I was being too sensitive.

I begged him to stop. I tried everything. I even moved out of his house, but he tracked me down and got me kicked out of my apartment. I had nowhere to go.

I just snapped.

Is the prosecution satisfied with the allocution?

The 100 Word Challenge, a writing prompt created by Velvet Verbosity, takes a single theme to tell a story in only 100 words ~ no more, no less. This week’s theme is ‘Cuffs.’

  1. Astonishing how abusers manage to make the abused look “sensitive”. I am both disgusted by, and in awe of, the mastery of abusers in that way.

Also, I think you are my only rival in frequency of design changes. I am considering a new design for VV. Big surprise, I know. Strap in and prepare for technical difficulties.
