It’s barely September and I have finally begun work on my Christmas projects. I’m worried that I’ve started a smidge late, and hope there’s enough time to finish everything.
I’ve got five crochet items going right now and am sure a few more will be added to the list before I’m done.
They are:
Large pillow top
Beanie
Afghan
Wrap/shawl
Hooded scarf with pockets
If you get one of these, please, try to act surprised.
Making gifts is something I enjoy, but I still fret that the recipients may think I’m being cheap with a handmade gift and not buying something from a Name Brand Store. If they could see my yarn receipts they’d know it ain’t cheap to make presents.
Anyway…
I’ve got stuff to do, projects that will take up a lot of time for the next few months. The work will keep me out of trouble, unless I see another yarn sale.

This week’s word is:
Homemade
What to do:
Using “homemade” for inspiration, write 100 Words – 100 exactly – no more, no less. You can either use the word – or any form of the word – as one of your 100, or it can be implied. Include a link in your post back here, and add your story to the Mister Linky list. If you don’t have a blog, you can leave your submission in the comment section, or as a Facebook status post. Remember to keep spreading the love with supportive comments for your fellow Wordsters.
