Roy G. Biv… red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet – that elementary school acronym we learned so we could remember the colors of a rainbow, and their prism sequence.
Roy and I have been hanging out the last few days. He’s my crochet muse. I’m making a set of nesting bowls, using some of that overabundance of leftover yarn I’ve mentioned before.
I did, however; get a new skein of multi-colored yard – Sugar ’n Cream Psychedelic – to make a lid, with the combined colors, for when all the bowls are tucked in together.
There’s a bag of white, and shades of red and pink yarn that are next in line for the nesting treatment.
I’m feeling all crafty and such. This crappy weather is turning me into Martha Stewart, or whoever the crochet minions worship.
You’re truly amazing, you know that?
Being inspired is a gift, enjoy the ride, the waves of color.
