Angela was kicking herself for saying, “Yes.”

The hottest boy at Cannon High, Reese Greene, had asked her to senior prom.

He caught her at the Hall C lockers between Science Lab and American Lit. First she looked around for members of his posse. Maybe one of them was capturing this potentially humiliating moment for a flash blast on Instagram.

Only once Reese convinced her he was serious, did Angela agree to the date.

Now he was at her front door in a blinged-out Elvis jumpsuit.

She clearly remembered telling him they would clash if he wore sequins too.
