His brethren, a close-knit, but secretive coterie of like-minded gentlemen, are a fastidious fraternity. The brothers rarely ruffle a feather, keen to maintain their debonair persona of style and grace.
Beneath their mantle of discretion and class, lurks relentless cruelty. Resolute in their execution, death to them is merely the completion of a cycle.

I felt like I do when I read a John Grisham novel, that southern royalty, the narcissistic personalities that make the best stories.
