“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”
~ Psalms 19:1, NIV

It is difficult for me to accept that a scene like this is happenstance. That uninspiring refraction of light, mixed with a scattering of atmospherical pollution, filtered through altostratus clouds, are all that a beautiful sunset is.
Difficult to not imagine the hand of God, sweeping across the same sky, painting the firmament with a palette of golds and reds, oranges and yellows. Creating each night, a masterpiece of incomparable, breath-taking beauty. A swirl of such colors that man could never duplicate and never authentically describe.

as I often say when I read posts like this from you, I don’t know what I like better..the picture or the words you painted for me. BOTH, is that okay, I love both.

This may be my favorite photograph of all the ones I’ve ever taken… and it’s Straight out of Camera. The sunsets here are truly spectacular. (I’m glad you like both words and pic. Thanks, Kir.)
