With the new pup, I’m still staying close to home for my photo hikes. No matter what the shelter chicks said, Asta is NOT housebroken so we’re in that “watching-her-like-a-hawk-in-case-she-squats” phase, and since she is still hobbling around on her injured leg, I can’t take her with me on long walks… yet. Hopefully, soon she can join Herhsey and me on the trail. May not get much photoging done, but we’ll have fun.
This weekend, little league tryouts began and I walked around the recreation park snapping away. I also got to the beach for an amazing sunset. The waves, for around here, were pretty cool too.

Those waves look a bit “cold” to me – – – what was the temp that day?

This time of year, water temps are just below 60F. By the summer, the water in the Gulf will rise to the mid-80s. The air temp on that day, was around 65F.

I have a supposedly “house-broken” adopt-ee, as well, so I understand! I love the shots you chose — especially the bolts of fabric.
Happy Sunday!

Like the beach flags and I’m glad you identified what is was. Have you ever did a “what’s this?” type of game with your pictures here?

I’ve actually thought about doing that, ‘name the mystery photo,” it could be fun.

There are not a whole lot of people, in my experience, who can make a chain and padlock look beautiful. You are amazing!!!
Good luck getting Asta trained. Do you have carpet? We do….carpet and a puppy. Not an ideal mix. I keep Resolve spray & paper towels at arm’s reach. =/

I know the beach walks are more than photo opportunities for you. Soon I hope your little one will be well enough for adventures far from home.

Good luck with the new family addition. She may have been housebroken but all the changes could have made her somewhat nervous. I bet she’ll get the hang of it again, quicky.
