The storms are gone from the Florida Gulf Coast, and this Labor Day weekend is the last tourist holdover. I headed out to the beach again and the local fishing pier. TS Isaac chased off the shore birds, the herons and pelicans were gone from the pier, but I did catch sight of a couple of dolphins playing in the surf.

the gulf coast is my favorite part of Fla…..warm waters and lots to see and do….I saw dolphins alongside a dock near Clearwater last year….

I’m glad the storms are gone. The sight of the blue sky calms me, and my favorite picture is the last. Palm trees remind me of home (California).
