Submitted for the Blissdom Domestic Summer Fun Photography Challenge. The theme this week is “Light.” Taken early in the morning on Rocky Bayou at Fred Gannon State Park near Niceville, Florida. I was out on the bayou in a kayak, exploring one of the many feeder creeks. The sun was behind me and cast a golden sheen on the tannic water.

Many of the state parks nearby offer kayak and canoe rentals… really cheap too, so I can at least pretend I am a Lady of Leisure.
