Hopped around some for my photo hike this weekend, stopping at several locations. Drove out to Navarre and walked the fishing pier again. It was a little cloudy when the day started out, and the sky was amazing.
Took the long way home through Milton and then hit a few spots nearer to home. It was a cold day, hovering in the low 50s, but you couldn’t tell from how blue and bright the skies were.

(Photos shot with a Nikon D60, using an 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 20mm f/2.8 wide-angle, 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, Nikon CoolPix S205 and/or iPhone4)

The first and lost shots are my favorites of the week. That first one just… how massive this world. And it goes on forever! And the lizard just… awww!!

If you said this was a hot summer day everyone would believe you. Shows how misleading the sky can be.

You have no idea how much I love the brown pelican. Glad the state bird of Louisiana is making a comeback.

Oh my GOD, sky that color? Water that color? They are not entitled to ever become chilly.

Other than cropping, the sky shots were not edited, but were Straight from Camera. They really were that color naturally.
