This week I made a return visit to St. Michael’s Cemetery near downtown Pensacola. The last time I went, I focused on photographing the historic monuments and gravestones. This trip, the wrought iron work, which is every bit as beautiful and intricate as the stones, fascinated me.
Photos shot with a Nikon D60, using an 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 20mm f/2.8 wide-angle, 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, Nikon CoolPix S205 and/or iPhone4)

I absolutely adore fences such as those. Beautiful shots. Can you imagine how long it took for the creator of those to make them? Incredible.

Absolutely beautiful.
I have a serious love for cemeteries. Not in a morbid sense, lol, but in their look. The history they hold. The art that exists in tomb stones and, like this photos, wrought iron fencing. This set makes me supremely happy artistically to see. 🙂
