Got out for the first time all week for a dedicated photo hike. It felt good to be outside again, even if the Florida humidity is hovering around 99%. I tried out my new photo vest, and it worked great. I had all my stuff within easy reach and I didn’t have to lug around a camera bag or lens case. Added bonus was I looked all kinds of professional… bwahaha!
This week seemed to be all about plants… and halos.
I even included a rare self-portrait, complete with my wide-brimmed swamp hat… you’re welcome.

I believe it’s from a wild muscadine grape vine. These grow everywhere in northern Florida.
