My own backyard

With gas prices still so expensive, I’m trying to stay closer to home for my photo hunts. Saturday I spent time at some of my favorite local spots, just making a huge loop around town.

I took these photos at Henderson Beach State Park, Clement Taylor Park, Maxwell Gunter Recreation Area, and Turkey Creek Nature Trail ~ all located in Okaloosa County, Florida.

Guidos: "Hey, sexy mama! How’d you get so fine?"

(Photos shot with a Nikon D60, using an 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 20mm f/2.8 wide-angle, 50mm f/1.8 prime lens and/or a Nikon CoolPix S205)

  1. Some of my favorite shots are just around the corner from me and I see you’ve got a gorgeous neighborhood yourself! I love the dock photo and the little blue shoe and and and. Thank you! I enjoyed my visit.

  2. WOW! What wonderful shots! The bees and the lily pads are my favs, but… amazing the beauty you can find in your own “backyard.” Beautiful

  3. These are just gorgeous Tara. My favorite? I don’t know…I love so many of them; but the one of that beautiful water and pier with those gorgeous clouds in that blue sky. I just love it. The birds and the lily pads are amazing too. I’m a sucker for water and sky pics… ~Joy
