With gas prices still so expensive, I’m trying to stay closer to home for my photo hunts. Saturday I spent time at some of my favorite local spots, just making a huge loop around town.
I took these photos at Henderson Beach State Park, Clement Taylor Park, Maxwell Gunter Recreation Area, and Turkey Creek Nature Trail ~ all located in Okaloosa County, Florida.

(Photos shot with a Nikon D60, using an 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 20mm f/2.8 wide-angle, 50mm f/1.8 prime lens and/or a Nikon CoolPix S205)

I’m SO freaking jealous of that backyard/view/life 😉 I miss being near a beach, with views. Florida is screaming for me to come back, but only if they lower that pesky cost of living (I like my internet, cell, and cable TV, plus ignoring labels on food XD)

Wow! That really puts it into perspective. I think the last time I filled my gas tank, I paid $3.79 a gallon, but I’ve seen it as low as $3.49.
