On Tuesday my husband and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary by renting a pair of kayaks at a nearby state park. We’re pondering whether to buy our own, so wanted to try them out first.
I enjoyed the day so much, I went back on Saturday to paddle around some more. Looks like we’re going to be pricing some ocean kayaks.
(The hermit crab pictured was about the size of a tennis ball. They get really honker big in the wild.)

* Because I was too scared to take my big camera on the water, considering the way my luck has been going lately… all of these photos were either taken on my iPhone or with my Nikon CoolPix S205 point-n-shoot.

I wouldn’t take mine on the water either if it were a good one, lol. And for the same reasons! LOVE your pics but I really loved the one with the two boats looking out in to the water. Happy Anniversary!!! We’re approaching 23 next year. Goes fast, doesn’t it?

Great pictures. I’m impressed too. Kayaking is so much harder than it looks. I’ve only gone a few times and my poor co-passenger had to do most of the work.

Oh how fun! I’ve never been kayaking, but I love the concept. What a great thing to share with your husband – and happy anniversary, too! 🙂

Happy Anniversary. And as had been said before – it’s not the camera, it’s the photographer.
