Haiku Friday – water

Fierce force of nature
Churning waves, rolling breakers
Cruel power unleashed

*Haiku Friday is hosted by Lou at LouCeeL.

My thoughts and prayers are with friends and family during the earthquake in Japan, and the tsunami impacting Hawaii, and the continential U.S. west coast.

I believe all good fiction includes an element of truth, and all good photography includes an element of fantasy. In this journal I hope to give voice to the stories swirling around in my head, and to capture the images I see through my camera’s lens.

  1. Amazing. Funny, since I’m catching up with posts tonight, I wondered as I read it: “Was this when the tsunami happened?” Then I got to the end. 😉 Good guess, huh?

  2. Great haiku! I saw a video of the tsunami (In Japanese, the word ‘tsunami’ means ‘harbor wave’) flowing into and across Sendai Airport. Chilling.
