“You will find truth more quickly through delight than gravity. Let out a little more string on your kite.” ~ Alan Cohen
Dad and I tried flying a kite at Griffith Park in California when I was in 7th grade which was a long, long, long time ago. We were not successful. To tell you the truth though, I find joy and delight in small things and let go of anger quickly. I don’t stay mad long because I don’t want to be angry all the time. I am lucky that I am over 70 and can still experience joy and see miracles almost daily. I am grateful. Thank you for the quote and the kite photo which inspired me to talk wayyyyyy too long.

Haven’t seen a kite in ages….this one looks quite aerodynamic.

Kites are very popular on the beach, people even surf using really big ones.

It has been a very long time since I let out the string on any kite. Thanks for sharing a delightful photo and a thoughtful quote.
