It’s that time of year. The month of November has been the catalyst for many writers to hunker down and finally write that Great American Novel. Yeah, that’s not going to happen here.
I am attempting the November NaBloPoMo, but not the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). I’ve done the novel writing thing a few times, and even managed to eke out 50,000+ words on each attempt, but that was as far as it got.
Lately, I’ve posted some storylines that are asking me to continue them. Andrew, Last Wish, Nightshade. NaNoWriMo rules exclude counting any content written before the start of November, so I can’t use anything I’ve started. I can add to those tales if I stick to NaBloPoMo.
Beginning Sunday morning, I’m brewing a strong mug of coffee then hunkering down to writing, adding to my Works in Progress, and maybe creating some new stories.
*I know, you’re wanting to add, “e,i,e,i,o” after every one of those acronyms*
Full Disclosure
I’m also a tester for the new editor format for WordPress.com, and am experimenting with this post. It’s very different, but not necessarily in a bad way. It will just take a little getting acquainted.
