The similarities between the aluminum chain-link fence, and the barbed and twisted vines, made for me an interesting contrast. One barrier metal, the other wood; one made by man, one by nature. Both, formidable deterrents to trespassers.
Curved, twisted, and intertwined, each a twin of the other… but not.

it perfectly describes relationships..some seem fated, others are made, yearned for..we twist ourselves into the lives of other people and it works…we don’t strangle, we just grow alongside each other keeping others out.
I liked how you called it a twin, but not. I know a lot about that kind of relationship. 🙂
