Life changes, transforms
Summer turns to fall, adapt
Shed the old, reborn
Haiku Friday is hosted by Lou at LouCeeL.
Next month, I turn 50. I’m determined that my second 50 years, be as exciting as my first. If I want changes, if I want adventure, I have to make it happen and not wait for it to be handed to me.
I got this haiku contest in an e-mail I receive (awkward sentence much?) Anyway, I thought of you

My son found a cicada shell last week. He put it in a jar and it’s sitting on my kitchen counter. My daughter and I have been pushing for it to be thrown away, but now I think we’ll keep it.
