Your beach pictures make me want to get to a beach as soon as possible like nothing else does. So pretty!

Breathtaking: the shell, the photo, the poem. I can just about smell the ocean.

I can almost feel the texture through my screen. Wonderful capture! Mother Nature is an incredible artist, as are you for capturing this so perfectly.

Thank you! This photo is showing the shell as larger than it actually is. There were dozens of these along the shore, each home to a hermit crab.

I love that shell, I just put my favorites out around our house and they make me happy just looking at them. This one is exceptional, so beautiful. Your words just made me tear up, the “welcome mat out” line was gorgeous.

I would have brought this one home, but it was already occupied.

I dig those shells too. The gulf coast area is great for those. Lovely picture

The best place I’ve found for shelling on the Gulf Coast is on St. George Island, which is further south near Apalachicola.

I. Love. Cat’s Eyes. They are my absolute favorite shell. I love their shape, their texture, their design. Everything. The only thing I like even close to as much is olives.
