Damn! It’s friggin’ rainin’ again,
That stoopid Super never did fix that leakin’ drain.
My web’s destroyed and the whole place is gonna flood.
Now, I’mma hafta shovel out all this stinkin’ mud.

The Trifextra prompt this weekend was to rewrite a famous story, poem, book, or fable in just 33 words.
Spider with a shovel. Yeah, I can see that. haha

Like an old, cranky spider, mad at the weather again. That was fun.

Ha, loved this, Tara. I’ve said it before, but I love how you bring something different every week. And another great photograph…
Thanks for joining up and see you for the weekly challenge, where we’ve chosen someone else’s word — so the presuure is off again!

HAHAHAHAHAHAH! I LOVE this. Thanks for taking me inside the mind of the spider. I will never think of the song the same way again.

This is so cool… and gives me the heebie-jeebies all at the same time. The spiders around here don’t have such amazing colors. Or maybe I just never get close enough to know for sure.

I’m NO fan of spiders…YIKES; and you say that little critter’s body can grow to 3 inches long….NO THANK YOU! I wouldn’t want to see him running across my ceiling or floor. But….I DO love the poem. Happy weekend Tara… ~Joy xo

I’m not fond of the 8-leg vermin either, but they are such interesting creatures. These spider are typically not house bugs, but found in the woods. I come upon them when I’m out on photo hikes. They like to build their webs (which are be as big as 3-feet wide) across trails. I have nearly walked into them many times.
