Those are so cute! I was do disappointed that El Niño didn’t arrive quite like we expected here in Southern California. I wanted to buy my 8-year-old some cute galoshes and jump in some puddles!
I love this – it’s the simple pleasures, always. It reminds me of the red rain boots I had when I was that age. According to my mother I used to wear them around the house with my nightgown.

I wear my galoshes to the beach sometimes too, especially when I’m photographing along the shore. I get a lot of odd looks… but I don’t care. I’m having fun.

As a kid, I remember having yellow rain boots with little buckles. Ah… good times.
