2013: A year in photos

These past two weeks were hectic and crazy with all the Christmas prep. A near constant drizzle added a dreary dimension. I stayed inside most of the time trying to stay warm and dry, and working like a maniac to get handmade gifts finished and mailed in time for the holidays. I wasn’t completely successful, but it’s all done now, and the last packages go out Monday.

Instead of haphazardly attempting to get a photo hike in, I decided instead to recap some of my favorite Sunday in my City photos from the past year. One from each month.

I went on photo hikes in Florida and Tennessee, at the beach and deep in the woods. I witnessed the power of a tropical storm, and the crazy surfers who love them. I trespassed in crumbling and abandoned buildings, and walked among the dead – human and otherwise. I paid my respects to a King, and communed with Mother Nature.

It was a very good year.

  3. My new years resolution is to buy some of your photos this year. And I don’t even do NY resolutions.
The hardest part would be narrowing it down…..I love 99.9% of your photos!!!

  4. Love, love, love them all, but especially Saved Seats and Oakland Cemetery because of the mood they invoke. Gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
